An Access Database Programmer begins your new project with the so called “Design and Development” phase. You pay nothing for your new system until the end of this phase, and then only if you decide to continue with the project. The “Design and Development” phase begins with an onsite consultation, followed by as many calls and/or e-mails and/or fax’s as are needed to understand your requirements. At the end of this process a “Development” database (i.e., a “Draft” database) will have been completed. Most or all of your database screens and hard-copy printouts will have been designed, and World Class Programs will have a very good idea of the effort that will be required to complete the project.

For you, the "Design and Development" phase is free and without obligation. It ends with the delivery of a firm, fixed-price quote to you, and a demo in your office of the development database. Following that demo, you will have a very good idea of how your final, operational database will look, act, and “feel”. Database projects can differ considerably in complexity, but many small business databases created in Access will cost less than $4,000. Prices actually start at about $1,000 for the more basic, straight-forward databases developed by World Class Programs' Access Database Programmer.

Following completion of the "Design and Development" phase, you may elect to continue your project by making a payment of 1/3 of the fixed-price quote. The project would then continue thru the remaining development cycle phases.
